Just because the bill had good qualities, doesn't mean that it is good in its enterity. Democrats are using "voting rights" as an excuse to take control of election from the states, so they can stack things in their favor. It isn't any different than Republicans using "voter fraud" as an excuse to stack things in their favor. A bipartisan bill would focus on voter rights instead of all the additions that make stack things in favor for Democrat demographics over Republican demographics.

With few exceptions, he votes for every bill put out by Biden and the Democrats. He asks for them to compromise across the aisle for a couple of bills, so now Democrats see him a traitor. It is almost as ridiculous as the claim that Romney and Cheney are RINOs.

@michaeljeanbaptiste2587 Republicans are offering Biden 80% of what he wants on this infrastructure bill, but he is throwing a tantrum, because they said no to the last 20%. Both sides are supposed to be somewhat unhappy -- that is how compromises and democracies are supposed to work. Manchin is one of the few good Americans who still believe that. In addition, I didn't see any Democrats complain when Senator (R) Susan Collins blocked some of Trump's agenda when it went too right.

@J C Romney has been a Republican and a conservative his whole life, while Trump went from being a Democrat to a Republican in 2007 when he learned questioning Obama's birthplace got him more TV coverage. Romney is a real Republican, while Trump is an opportunist who fooled the stupid masses.

@michaeljeanbaptiste2587 I'm no fan of Trump, but he least he was honest that he didn't want to work with Democrats. On the other hand, Biden ran on unity, but does everything he can to avoid bipartisanship.

@Shell m Was he a Republican when he voted for all the partisan, Democrat bills so far?
