This is false. Corporations give legal protection for the owners. They don't give legal protections for the executives. For example, the executives that committed fraud at Enron were sued in both civil and criminal courts for their actions. My father who owned Enron stock and is therefore is a partial owner of the company was not liable for Enron's fraud, because he wasn't involved in the running the company. It is frankly a ridiculous argument that people should be allowed to sue stockholders.
