@AbruptandOffensive No one is banning cars. Every American who can operate a vehicle safely is entitled to a driver license unless they commit a crime that removes that right. I'm not a criminal, so why can't I have a tool that protects my hearing at the gun range?

@AbruptandOffensive You know you only have to pass a driver's tests if you're a minor in the majority of states? Adults are just given the right. Suppressors are banned because politicians who don't know anything about guns have deemed them "too scary". Just look at the Democrats' last assault weapon ban. They focused their ban on characteristics that make the gun look dangerous instead of features that actually made the gun more dangerous.
