  1. What deal? Russia gets almost everything they want. The US seizes half a trillion dollars of Ukraine's mineral wealth. Ukraine gets no security guarantees and no concessions from Russia. Ukraine is better off fighting Russia on their own instead of surrendering Ukrainian sovereignty.
