@worldofdoom995 The government is very aware of the many factions. The average person doesn't have the attention span to look at the complexity or shades of grey in conflicts. For example, the only time there was persistent coverage in Syria was when ISIS was involved, because they were so cartoonishly evil compared to the other waring factions. The isolationist are also willfully ignorant as these conflicts could spill over and destabilize the world. Look at the people who want to leave Haiti to collapse, but then get upset when Haitian refugees arrive in their town.

@theliato3809 Barely. It's a quagmire that the US doesn't want to touch, so they are paying Kenya to keep the peace instead.

@theliato3809 I'm American. I am very aware of our issues and politics. We argue over bathrooms and whether immigrants are eating pets as Russia kidnaps children and China puts Muslims in camps.
