The administration is enforcing the law as Title 42 no longer applies. Unless we should go back to lockdowns? Legally, unless they are from Mexico, if someone crosses the border and says they are seeking asylum, then they can't be turned away. To turn them away under currect law would be illegal. The majority of the asylum claims are bogus, but there aren't enough judges and lawyers to process all the people in a timely manner. Supposedly, the new border law would give the president authority to turn non-Mexican immigrants at the border after a certain threshold gets reached, so the system isn't overwhelmed and it would give more money to hire judges to process through the bogus asylum claims. Many Republican congressmen have decided to reject the deal for the political benefit of a border crisis, and they will find a reason later to justify it, and partisans will just believe at face value.

@WastdTrashPanda Who is "they" that is saying they are replacing whites with Hispanics? And what is your problem with Hispanics? Do they not fit Trump's ideal "blood purity"?
