Crossing the Delaware makes a better painting. Valley Forge and Crossing the Delaware are arguably more important events because without them the war would likely be lost. The American and French forces didn't need a victory at Yorktown as much some other events.

@greenkoopa Unlike Thomas Jefferson who say slaves as little more than livestock, Washington has more complex feelings about the institution. Washington didn't believe in using physical or psychological violence as a means of increasing productivity, so it was rarely ever used on his plantation. He also hoped the institution would decline, but saw its economic necessity for the country and as a way to save Africans' souls through teaching them the Bible.

Washington wasn't a military genius, but it was an impressive task to keep his army intact against the greatest military force of the time. His more important role was being the first president and establishing very important norms. For example, he could of seized control like Napoleon did in France, but he peacefully left office. This is a tradition that continued until the 45th president.
