I assume the strike on the nuclear power station was unintentional or the dumb decision of a local Russian commander. Considering that radiation traveled from Japan to California, the wind could easily carry radiation from Ukraine to Belarus or Russia. This is just too dumb to be planned.

The Americans cut off oil from Japan. Now the Americans are just refusing to buy it from Russia.

@JosephKeenanisme I guess I just remember people on the West coast taking iodine in case the wind blew the radiation in the wrong direction. Either way, Belarus and Russia are a little closer to Ukraine than California is to Asia.

@afghanistandaily9175 You say that, but Russia has been discounting their oil just to get anyone to buy it. Germany also has the infrastructure to buy petro from anywhere. However, they don't have the infrastructure to import LNG, so they are very dependent on Russia for national gas.
