@franciscovarela7127 The connection was very limited in scope. How was it not mentioned that Hoover's FBI tried to link civil right leaders with communism? In addition, there should have been more elaboration on how the effects of the Soviet and Chinese propaganda of the civil rights movement on domestic and foreign populations.

@Jay-ho9io That's an unfair simplification. There are still regions were that is true, but racial integration among businesses, neighborhoods, and families is miles ahead of were it was even 10 years ago (especially among the younger population).

I'm not sure I believe that is true. While Europe focuses less on skin color, Europeans do have an issue treating Muslims like second class citizens. In addition, you question requires a complex answer that would fit better in a book series than a YouTube comment section.

@rr_gaming4954 In Texas, k-12 history books covered slavery thoroughly. After Jamestown, we learn about the Atlantic slave trade. During the founding of the country, we learned the president owned slaves and our Constitution defines slaves as 3/5 a person. After that, Americans argued about slavery until we fought a civil war over it. Our history books pretty much ended with saying Nazis and Jim Crow laws are evil (everything else modern was glossed over as too controversial). Slavery was never white washed in my experience. Also, the discrimination Muslims see in Europe leaves me unimpressed with European race relations.

@rr_gaming4954 BLM is covered heavily by China and Russia state media, while censoring stories of their own human right violations.
