  1. Bernie Sanders is probably the most famous Soviet tourist. In the 1980s, he spent his honeymoon in the Soviet Union and used it as an opportunity to praise socialism over capitalism.

  2.  @JTA1961  The irony is that when one corporation holds all the means of production and a near monopoly on use of force, it essentially act like a communist government, but without the lie of it being "for the people". Capitalism only works with competition and rule of law.

  3.  Franklin S.  I'm sure Sanders' criticism of American capitalism and praise of the Soviet Union was probably a big propaganda win for the communists.
