I'm not sure what Germany expected Mexico to do against the US. For one thing, all of Mexico's military hardware came from America.

@LuccianoBartolini A few bolt action rifles aren't going to do much against automatic machine fire and artillery barrages.

@MrTaxiRob One side of my family is Mexican, and I haven't heard a single individual who thinks the SW United States belongs to Mexico.

@LuccianoBartolini In a guerrilla campaign within their own country. That wouldn't really apply to a Mexican invasion of the US.
