The currect law says the government can't turn away non-Mexicans who claim to seek asylum, so now we have millions of economic migrants making bogus asylum claims, knowing the overwhelmed court system can't process them for years. The border deal can reduce the number of crossings and give more resources to quickly reject bogus asylum claims. Congressional Republicans and Trump are saying Biden should just break the law so Republicans don't have a vote on changing the law.

Yet again, Trump changed his story to he did have classified documents, but he secretly declassified them without telling anyone. Trump also claimed he would have handed everything over everything to the National Archives if they asked, but evidence released from the Trump team shows that the former president refused multiple times to hand over the documents when asked and he even denied having any additional documents. People who tell the truth don't keep changing their stories. The contradictions are also proof that he isn't honest.
