@licxylugo1462 I have a MAGA friend who loves Trump's policies. He always complains that his raises are minimal and his company piles more work on him instead of hiring more people. I asked him if a corporate tax cut would translate to a raise, more staff, or only higher profit margins. He said only higher profit margins and then voted for Trump regardless.

It was the cost of groceries. The criminality, racism, and autocracy weren't deal breakers. It is the same way autocrats in Russia and China get support. If their wages are going up, then they don't care about human rights or corruption.

@kimberlyhalloran5724 We were told as a kid we are all equal under the law, including the president. Now, we can tell our kids that the law only applies to us, and the law can be used as a weapon against us by a vindictive president.
