Founders get away with more with employees, but Twitter is hardly a startup.

@FutureCommentary1 True, but when Musk took Telsa over, it was still a young company with a startup culture. A large, public company like Twitter has a way different culture.

@FromFame Musk didn't fire 80% of his workforce. He treated a bunch of nine-to-fivers like they were part his start up, so they chose to leave. Now, Musk doesn't have the workers to keep the company running yet alone the workforce to enact his new vision (whatever that is). Musk is completely out of his element at Twitter.
