MAGA: Biden Everyone else: Trump

@scottdavis3571 Workers who didn't risk their money in the capital, develop a product, or organize the company? Employees want all the benefits of the 10% of businesses that succeed, but they offer nothing to the 90% of businesses that fail. Seems greedy.

I live in Houston. My family and friends work for NASA. It is a waste of money. There are too many government employees playing solitaire because they know results don't matter, and the government never fires anyone. For example, my neighbor was in charge of making sure all cargo was safely secured on the space shuttle. He kept the assignment three years after Obama scrapped the Shuttle program.

AI is pretty stupid at certain things, and binary programming won't ever problem solve like a person.

Applying and interviewing for a job is dehumanizing? ❄️

You are lumping all gulf nations together. Saudi Arabia has different laws that Qatar.

How can Warren and AOC have degrees in economics but still seem not to be able to understand the basics?
5
If the book didn't come with crayons to color with, then Trump didn't read it.

A politician falsely accused a rival politician!? Who would have guessed!?

It barely covers population growth

While you make some good points, you can't ignore how social media has made poured gasoline on the "keeping up with the Jones" mindset.

Not really sure how this is unique to China. Greenhouse gases and trash consumption is smaller per capita by a large margin than Americans.

"Now I'm the captain"

@MarketsDriveTheWorld He did try to overturn an election he lost to stay in power. Textbook autocrat.

President Pooh got his feelings hurt

@TK199999 If they opt out of the agreement, then it wouldn't be a common market, which is the point of the EU.
4
Most economists support neoliberalism because the data shows the best results.
4
DARPA provides the best toys for scientists and engineers.
4
Most immigrants are young workers, so they are decades away from collecting any pension.
4
Except that isn't true. The evidence shows that public funding outside of the military industry is more wasteful and less innovative. The speculation is that the Department of Defense cares more about more practical aspects than the Department of Energy, for example.

Pootin is takings notes

Left or right wing, the populist are destroying Latin America. Instead of investing in infrastructure, education, and a good governance, the populists prefer protectionism and giving away "free" money through money printing and debt.
4
I love the idea of people who get paid under the table to avoid paying taxes will get themselves screwed out of more pension payments with their under reported income.
4
@emilianosintarias7337 Capitalism as we know it didn't exist as we know it back than. Mercantilism only ended a couple centuries ago.
3
During the upcoming economic crisis, the people who demanded to only work at home will be the first laid off and the last to be hired.
3
Tarrifs will depend on how much stock or ads you buy from Truth Social. Elon has already paid Trump for his tarrif loopholes.
3
At some point, cutting taxes to near zero isn't going to bring in a lot of government revenue.
3
Obviously, Africa needs invests and jobs instead of free stuff from the West.
3
Industrial policy is a net drain on an economy.
3
13 minutes of Trump sanewashing. It is disingenuous to try to make Trump's unhinged rants sound like well thought out policies.
3
Castes* China also has inequality and discrimination
3
@1mol831 You are mixing up high regulation with authoritarianism. India street vendors are affordable because they don't deal with costs like taxes, OSHA, and the health department
3
@1mol831 The point of regulations is to keep people safe. For example, unsanitary Indian hospitals are just as likely to kill you as the treatment. At least it is more affordable... Plus, India has more red tape than the vast majority of countries. There is just little respect or enforcement of the law -- especially for the wealthy and politically connected.
3
@1mol831 What is disrespectful is that you find it acceptable that nearly 5 million people die every year in India due to medical negligence.
3
Biden's and Trump's $trillions of spending. Both are to blame.
3
Unionized companies have similar issues
3
@Historia.Magistra.Vitae. State capitalism is what China, Russia, and Iran do. The state owns the companies that compete in a global free market. They are inefficient, but they have advantages like government-provided corporate espionage, military threats to potential buyers, and tax payer funded investments.
3
Remember how 2020 Trump said the Biden economy would have the stock market collapse?
3
Why choose only one?
3
You are giving him too much credit. If you think Europe is playing chess, then Trump is playing tic-tac-toe.

@ltfreeborn You don't get unemployment if you quit. Employers also have to pay more when ex employees collect benefits.
3
Most people are unaware that most gas stations lose money on gas after calculate the overhead.
3
It rarely matters who did it first. It matters who is the first to do it in a practical way. It would be like ignoring Facebook because Friendster was first.
3
Most have the impression that the land will be re-leased for free when the time comes, because it could be politically toxic to do otherwise. Seems overly optimistic to me.
3
@@rolipoli826 Authoritarian parties tend to have echo chambers that can lead to bad decisions. I wouldn't rule anything out -- especially when the CCP's money is threatened.
3
Norway has private companies extract the government's oil reserves for profitable contracts because the government can't run a successful business on its own.
2
@nicksonsicnawa9607 China made Jack Ma disappear for criticizing regulation. Xi's crackdown on innovators is nuts.
2
@satriojumeneng7055 and there is American components in Chinese products. That is why it's called a global supply chain.
2
Without military spending and high gas prices, the Russian economy collapses. Russian can't afford the war and can't afford to end it.
