@Wilhelmofdeseret I am just pointing out factual inaccuracies of claiming that poorer nations were forced to take a majority of the refugees when they were asked to take a smaller amount than the northern countries. In addition, many refused to take even the smaller amount.

Sounds like propaganda. The data shows the wealthier, norther countries took more refugees, while news showed the eastern countries complained the most about it.

@charonboat6394 It's convenient how Poland and Hungary care about the EU treaty about this when they been ignoring their treaty obligations for years to expand the authoritarian powers of its leaders.

@charonboat6394 Poland's Law and Justice party doesn't even respect Poland's constitution, so it is hypocritical to for them to say that EU is overstepping by asking Poland to follow the treaty obligation (and a requirement for any functioning democracy) to have judicial independence. If Poland and Hungary has such an issue with their treaty obligations, then they can Brexit.

@charonboat6394 A more accurate metaphor is the Law and Justice party (an ironic name) is a murder who says he is against the death penalty due to his religious beliefs. He didn't care about his religious beliefs when he was committing murder, but he is willing to quote scripture to avoid the consequences of his actions. It is all very hypocritical and self servings.

@charonboat6394 I will be honest. I live in America, so I don't really care much European migration policy. I just get get annoyed when people use misinformation to advance an agenda. Do you think European countries shouldn't have to take Middle East refugees? I'm sure there are good arguments for and against it. Did Germany send the majority of refugees to poorer nations like Hungary. No. That is a bald face lie, because Germany more than practiced what they preached by taking in thousands of refugees.

Boo hoo. The European countries that caused the problem had to pay for it. They should have been grateful that Germany wanted to bail them out when no one else wanted to.

@scpatl4now It still sounds like the German taxpayers bailing out the southern countries who wanted to have massive spending without collecting any taxes. Followed up by ungrateful attacks against the Germans.
