The issue with Ukraine's domestic production is that the factories and power can be attacked by Russia. Even the F-16s will be vulnerable on the ground to Russian missles
1
@Altinget If the Germans let them.
1
@greatbriton8425 If Putin believes that NATO is such a threat, then why is he pulling so many border troops from Russia's borders with NATO to send them to Ukraine? Obviously, Putin is lying about a "pending NATO invasion" to convince a gullible Russian population to support his colonial ambitions.
1
In the UK, where they don't follow US politics as regularly
1
It is a stepping stone to take a stepping stone to a much more fortified town. Bakhmut will end up a pyrrhic victory for Russia.
1
The US really the only overwhelming Navel power as most nations either have mostly given up challenging the US's navel might or they choose to rely on US navel support for their own protection. The Black Sea is probably one of the few water ways that the US doesn't project its power.
1
@TheRezro I don't see Turkey letting the US use their airspace as a battlefield.
1
I imagine Wagner pulling troops out of Africa and Syria to deal with manpower issues in Ukraine. It seems unlikely to be the other way around.
1
@nataliesthompsonxo The same reason you would take a foreign-born citizen or a teenager off the ballot. He doesn't qualify under the Constitution to run for the office.
1
@liquiddreamification Are going to ignore how Trump presented fake electors to Congress to defraud the federal government into appointing him as president based on his lies about election fraud? The whole conspiracy is at least 50 felonies.
1
Trump supporters prefer American democracy as it originated: Voters exclusively white, male landowners
1
That is false. However, only Trump could get away with contempt so much.
1
After Wagner took over French bases in coup Africa, Russia kept rubbing it in. How funny would it be for France to buy the rights to use the base after Russia gets chased out?
1
Russians removed major hardware a week ago.
1
Trump will end the war like he got Mexico to pay for the wall. Why would anyone take this clown seriously?
1
I thought candidates have to be in their 80s?
1
@schielematt After 9/11 attack, the US used Article 5 of NATO for the only time in the alliance's history. Over 1,100 non-US soldiers died in Afghanistan while supporting America.
1
Step 1: Elect Trump Step 2: ...... Step 3: Mexico pay for the wall Trump is making more fake promises.
1
@LordOfLight False. Lawyers have codes of ethics that include not lying and not bringing frivolous lawsuits. Bringing a frivolous lawsuit designed designed to intimidate a journalist reporting on a war criminal is completely without merit or ethics.
1
@LordOfLight It is difficult to disbar a lawyer for bad ethics, but that doesn't make their actions morally right. Obviously, you have zero experience in law.
1
@Heart Of Darkness Obviously, you keep dancing around the fact the war criminal's lawyers are presenting a frivolous lawsuit to intimidate a journalist into silence because your whole argument is without merit. While even a war criminal is entitled to legal representation, he is not entitled to have lawyers break the law or their code of ethics on his behalf.
1
Doubtful. Most of the world will cave to economic interests over moral interests. Just look at how silent Latin America and Africa are over Russia's war crimes, even though Russia is an economic basket case.
1
His mob would storm the court house and hand the judge. It is a cult and it's leader is violent.
1
@Rtg5637 JB didn't force Trump to commit campaign financial crimes, steal classified information, obstruction justice, and plot the overthrow of a free and fair election. That was all Trump's choices and now he faces the consequences.
1
Trump hasn't respected a law or contract in his life. You think he is going to care about treaties?
1
@LA-kc7ev Alan Dershowitz? The defense lawyer of OJ Simpson, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, and Donald Trump?
1
I find civil war unlikely. However, I imagine domestic terrorism from Trump's personality cult would be common place for a decade if Trump loses the election or gets put in prison. There would a Timothy McVeigh in every state.
1
@boozecruiser Did the courts, including those with judges appointed by Trump, ever rule in favor of Trump's election fraud claims?
1
Trump is trying to be Orban and Putin. The first step is to consolidate oligarchs around himself.
1
The US should still buy Greenland
1
@mosquitocoast25 Denmark doesn't want to sell Greenland at the offered price under this current geopolitical climate. Let's see if Denmark wants to deal with Greenland when Russia escalates the militarization of the Artic.
1
@ekesandras1481 Denmark doesn't want to sell Greenland at the offered price under this current geopolitical climate. Let's see if Denmark wants to deal with Greenland when Russia escalates the militarization of the Artic.
1
Obviously, surrendering to the Taliban without anything in return was a bad idea. Let's go Brandon.
1
@benwilson6145 A dumb argument. Trump negotiated a deal, but the Taliban weren't holding up their part of deal when Biden took charge. Biden didn't have obligation to hold up the deal as long as the Taliban ignored their any obligations. Instead, Biden just gave the Taliban everything they wanted with nothing in return (which wasn't the deal under Trump).
1
Someone didn't see the end of Rocky.....
1
@jennyfromtheblock.7153 His cult will love Putin if Trump tells them to, and independent voters only vote on economic issues and sometimes abortion.
1
@Jay-cp9kd Trump called Putin "genius" and "savvy" for invading Ukraine in two separate statements.
1
@TheVeritas2100 Name the treaty that NATO broke. I could name dozens that Putin has violated.
1
This is equivalent to the US being forced to side with Assad or Al Qaeda. One is a violent oppressor and the other is a radical terrorist organization fighting the oppression.
1
@bhupendraparekh6225 There isn't any evidence of that conspiracy.
1
I honestly feel bad for Russians for being too dumb to recognize the horrible things their government is doing on their behalf
1
@ТанечкаНовчик You know Russia is the one bragging about their war crimes? It is disgusting how much pride the butchers are taking for bombing hospitals, schools, and power stations.
1
Trump ❤ Putin 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
1
Ukraine isn't short on pilots as Ukraine, unlike jets, because Russia tends to destroy the Ukraine jets when they are on the ground.
1
Ukraine isn't going to lose western tanks to mud in an already swampy region that was flooded only weeks ago.
1
The UN Charter and Russia regonized Ukrainia's borders in sovereignty in 1991. If Russia can't respect that, then it is time for Russia to step down from the UN Security Council.
1
@Radioguy-tf6rp Matt Gaetz as Secretary of Education, so he can meet high school girls across the country. MTG as Department of Homeland Security, so she can protect us from Space Lazers. Trump 2024
1
@pogo1140 Poland transfered their MIGs to a NATO base in Germany to be transferred to Ukraine, but nothing came out of it. There aren't any dog fights in Ukraine. Russia won't risk their jets by flying over Ukraine airspace. Airpower would be best for combine arms, but the amount training that would take in a new western jet isn't realistic. Russian are also perfectly capable of easily shooting down a f16. Longer range HIMAR missles and cheaper, advance drones would be smarter.
1
@pogo1140 Flying and bombing a fixed target is relatively easy (and a task easily preformed by HIMARS). Combined arms fighting takes significantly more training. Russian pilots still can't combined arms fighting it due to having less training than NATO counterparts. It isn't realistic to expect a crash course to make Ukraine a NATO equivalent air force. There are smarter, less flashy ways to give Ukrainian a sustainable military advantage over Russia.
1
To be fair, the US doesn't give access to its nukes to NATO partners.
