  2.  @ArendJanV  Too much training, logistics, and maintenance would be required before advance fighters would be useful. Tanks and long range rockets would be cheaper and more useful in the short window where Ukraine can push Russia back.

  3. The US really the only overwhelming Navel power as most nations either have mostly given up challenging the US's navel might or they choose to rely on US navel support for their own protection. The Black Sea is probably one of the few water ways that the US doesn't project its power.
