A sign of Russian engineering when their ice breakers can only operate in the Caribbean.

@dpelpal Russian stealth fighters are so stealthy that no one has ever seen them in the air.

They aren't mutually exclusive. Democracies don't go to war with each other, and the rule of law benefits trade between nations.

To be fair, except for a few exceptions, most of the NATO equipment that was originally supposed to be sent to Ukraine wasn't maintained. America sent equipment over the ocean faster than some NATO countries could get their equipment operational.

@daydays12 Exactly. They have never entered Ukrainian air space because these "steath" fighters will get detected and shot down. These show pieces are getting destroyed on the runway where the Russians thought they were safe.

@gregash7683 Most NATO countries have been cutting budgets for decades. Maintenance is one of the first cuts. I don't care how good the engineering is; you can't expect a tank to be operational after it spends years in storage without proper maintenance. Pretty much every NATO country that didn't hit their 2% spending target found this out when looking for equipment to send to Ukraine. Everything had to be repaired, and much of the equipment still wasn't working when it reached Ukraine.

@Eelis0 Western artillery can fire one or two shells to destroy a target, while Russian will fire hundreds and hope they get lucky. Even if Russian artillery barrels are hypothetically three times as durable, they still wear down faster due to a lack of precision firing capability.

Ukrainian don't need top of the line F-35s to outclass Russian air power. Refurbished F-16s are still better than what Russia operates.
