Musk doesn't have the emotional intelligence to manipulate Trump

@TheLastCrumb. Musk may be intelligent and creative, but that doesn't result in emotional intelligence. He seems to have difficulty controlling his own emotions and responding appropriately to others' emotions.

@TheLastCrumb. Understanding your own emotions, controlling your own emotions, understanding other people's emotions, and responding appropriately to other people's emotions. For example, people who can't tell when they are offending someone are emotionally unintelligent. People who can't recognize when they are being rude or passive-aggressive when they are upset are emotionally unintelligent. People who cry in public or have angry outbursts are typically emotionally intelligent. Based on people who work with Musk, he doesn't know how to read a room. He also has a fragile ego and tends to overreact.

@sudhirchandra9790 I never talked to them directly, so I don't want to give diagnoses, so take my diagnosis with a grain of salt. Musk is likely on the autism spectrum. This is why he can be so smart even with social interactions that can seem so unusual. Meanwhile, Trump is likely a malignant narcissist. Most people have difficulty lying because there are certain parts of your brain that light up and even be measured on your face when you feel guilt about being deceptive. Trump obviously doesn't feel guilt for lying or doing anything self-serving. This is charm and fluid ability to lie can make on very good at charming people. On the other side emotional intelligence is where Trump has difficulty. Trump's inflated self-worth and need for admiration make him overly sensitive to slights and easily manipulated by flattery.

@charlottepeukert9095 Musk's gift is to quickly pick multiple interlocking engineering concepts and then streamline all the a manufacturing process to cut costs. Musk goes through every step in the manufacturing process to cut costs. This how he made old technologies, electric cars and rockets, and made them into something commercially viable.
