@Thekulprit92 These funding bills are public information. Just look it up. Most of the money spent for Ukraine is used to build ammunition in American factories and to build replacement weapons in American factories to replace the decades-old weapon stockpiles sent to Ukraine.

A Ukraine funding bill was very popular in Congress, but Republicans said they would only vote it if there were more border restrictions. Republican and Democrat Senators negotiated the details, and now there is a border deal that gives Republicans what they asked for. Then Trump called Johnson and said to tank the bill to help Trump's political campaign.

Johnson got what he asked for, but he doesn't want to vote on it because he wants an open border to help the Trump campaign.

@Thekulprit92 What facts are you disputing? That congressional Republicans said on Fox News that they wanted border law linked to Ukrainian funding over and over? The fact that Trump put on Truth Social that he didn't want Congress to vote for it, because it could give Biden a win? Do you feel smart living in a delusional echo chamber instead of making judgments on provable facts?

@jeffh123 The $20 billion to the border helps the border. Obviously. How would spending additional money to fight Putin and Hamas detract from that? With your logic, we should stop the $2.7 trillion in social security spending because it doesn't help the border.

@benjeminecarpenter2894 They are in the same bill because Johnsons said he wouldn't support a Ukraine aid bill unless it included border security. It is nonsensical that Republicans are now upset for receiving what they asked for.

@jeffh123 Who is calling Ukraine funding "border security"? This is a foreign aid bill for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The border funding is an attached Republican earmark that Speaker Johnson demanded.
