  2. Outside of Austin, it is unlikely for a kid to grow up liberal in Texas. Even our universities lean right.

  3.  @bakurasplanet4502  Houston and Dallas almost always votes blue. The city is a concentration of poor urbanites who like Democrats giving them handouts. The vast majority of the population lives in the surrounding suburbs who vote overwhelmingly Republican.

  5. I think you are misunderstanding what Tucker means by "social" values. The governor made a good point about California transplants like the "fiscal" values of low taxes, low spending. However, Tucker was questioning if they have the same "social" values common in Texas like anti-legalization, pro-life, and pro-police.

  9. Only Trump did poorly, while down ballot Republicans still performed very well, so I'm not worried about a Blue shift unless the GOP shifts to Trumpism over traditional conservative values in the next election cycle.

  13. Arizona is still a conservative state. The state voted against Trump, so GOP has a good chance to take back the state if the party rejects Trumpism for traditional conservative values.

  15.  @springbloom8997  Republicans have done really well at ballot harvesting in 2020 in California. Democrats only had the advantage when the GOP didn't have any organization to push ballot harvesting. That has changed recently.
