@wnose The freeze that happens once every century?

Because the principle is smaller, it is still more affordable than the lower California tax rate.

@landrypierce9942 You are lying. This is the coldest weather in Texas in 72 years. In thirty years in Houston, I have only experienced freezing temperatures for more than 48 hours once before. We had freezing temperatures for almost two weeks straight.

The port of Houston is the busiest port in the U.S. in terms of foreign tonnage and the busiest in the U.S. in terms of overall tonnage.

@redwolfexr Teacher's union propaganda. Democrats: *more money on students 👎 *more money on unions 👍

Sounds like HR bull** instead of actual economic data.

@BOYVIRGO666 Economic data has not shown any negative change in hiring since the abortion law passed. The anecdotal story about people refusing to come to Texas over abortion access has much value as an anecdote claiming that people are coming to Texas over pro-life values.

@Vaeldarg Because you think killing babies is okay when it's convenient, but it is immoral to execute serial killers. Check your moral compass.

Nonsense. Delaware has more attractive business laws but isn't seeing Texas's growth. Texas has a highly educated workforce, great cost of living, and a friendly business environment.

My experience is that the Californian moving to Texas seem to be the 40% conservative minority that is tired of California's social and economic decline.

Great place to live. Not really a tourist destination.

Californians are coping hard in the comment section.

I'm sure all the homeless people feel like California is treating them great.

Ever heard of the Panama Canal?

@campas7182 Who told you corporations don't pay taxes?

California will be the next Detroit.

@redwolfexr A masters or doctorate to teach 7th grade math is a waste of money and evidence that the teachers lack the basic math skills to know how debt and interest work. It would be better if a parent had access to choice a private school if the "doctors" are failing to teach their children.

*Texas is the most diverse state *California has more blackouts than Texas by a large margin *Cities with stricter gun control have higher gun violence It's funny how inconvenient facts are in pushing a narrative.

I imagine it would be a lot like Brexit.

Jealous libs are coping hard

I respectfully disagree 🤠

The good news is that illegal immigrants can't hide from property taxes and sales taxes.
1
@jscotthamilton5809 California is so unfriendly to businesses that Arizona is becoming a massive logistics hub, so companies have easy access to the Pacific and the large California population without actually having to be based in California.

Lobbyist and their democrats puppets are profiting too much on housing shortages, so they will keep the restrictive zoning.

India's English speaking service industry might avoid the middle-income trap.

@BOYVIRGO666 Listing more than one anecdote is still anecdotal evidence. I met several people who have claimed they witnessed voter fraud, but that doesn't mean widespread voter fraud happened. It could mean people are being dishonest or using one outlier to represent a fictional trend. Also, job reports are reported monthly. The data is already out there.

Corrupt Democrats are using zoning to make houses scarce to profit off younger, more diverse citizens.
