Do we actually think Trump had a well thought policy? He straight up admitted he doesn't even know who the current NATO Secretary is.

Trump believes loyalty only goes one direction -- to him. It is why thousands of Kurds died fighting his war against ISIS, and then he stabbed them in the back when he wanted very minor concessions from Turkey.

@HubertBarnes Orban, while equally authoritarian, at least seems to be a strategic thinker. Trump, by comparison, seems anti-intellectual, bored by complexities of governing, and distracted easily by the news cycle. Trump's former staff members describing their White House briefs sound like a kindergarten teacher struggling to get a kid to with ADHD to listen.

@HubertBarnes I assume you are talking about Trump's speeches. You tell his lack of policy by the lack of details. "I'm going to get Mexico to pay for the wall." How? "My great negotiating ability." "I'm going get North Korea to get give up their nuclear program." How? "My great personal relationship with autocrats." "I'm going to get a better Nuclear Deal with Iran." How? "Reasons" Trump makes promises, but has no plans on how to implement his policy. If we are lucky, Trump had someone else in his administration to implement his policy as he distracts himself on Twitter or by watch cable news all day.
