@raw-b6658 You sound like someone afraid to stand for your principles.

@Blackatchaproduction What kinda brain dead argument justifies Communism with Whataboutism?
2
@abdoarfa22 🙄
2
Short Answer: Because Google makes money 💰
2
If loosing your job means you can't pay your bills, then you are poor. This means lifestyle inflation and excessive debt can make high income earners poor.
2
I noticed that when I stopped watching finance channels that I stopped seeing these BS influencers selling their MLM schemes, crypto pump and dumps, and useless "Master Classes". YouTube is literally targeting us.

@du_san Natural unemployment is a good thing as it is the process where people move from job to job to meet fluctuations of demands within businesses and industries. What is the point of industrialization without consumer goods? Sure, the Soviet Union produced a ton of steel, but it took decades to get a car. If socialism was so effective, then sanctions would hurt capitalist countries more. The only thing socialists have done well is sell natural resources. Anything valued added is beyond their reach.

@HTV-2_Hypersonic_Glide_Vehicle Do we actually know if Ohio is a real place? It seems like Atlantis where everyone has heard of it, but I don't know anyone who has actually been there.
1
@HTV-2_Hypersonic_Glide_Vehicle What do videos on an Italian explorer and an animated sitcom have to do with whether Ohio is real?
1
Pensions kill companies. A 401k buyout is the only sustainable solution to allow the company to compete with younger, more innovative companies.
1
Think is more of a story about how obesity will kill us all too young.
1
One of Warren Buffets best investments was Clayton Homes as he knew cheap housing would only grow in demand.
1
Social Security has a deficit. Where is the excess money?
1
If not consultants, then who is supposed to weed out the redundant positions? Bull$h*t Jobs video: https://youtu.be/uK3OBAxCi6k
1
@josephcarland Until the scheme falls apart like Liz Truss's government
1
Imagine the money saved for people who quit smoking.
1
People who love autocrats "who just get things done." What that looks like is China, where they use corruption and authoritarianism to cut through red tape. This results in things like poisoned dog food and ten-year-old apartments collapse from inferior concrete.

Not what the lawyers say
1
@jahjoeka Because he didn't want to buy the company after signing the contract. Due to the contract and the law, he was forced to buy Twitter even though he changed his mind. I feel like you are going to argue semantics.
1
@jahjoeka Nobody is calling him the victim. If anything, Musk is the butt of joke as he thought there were no consequences of his actions because he is rich.
1
@@dx-ew6rq Share buybacks are a scam to pay more to executives and avoid tax issues with dividends.
1
@thesquirrel082190 I assume you are so ethical that you only invest bonds to build schools that only pay 2% interests. Personally, I would rather be a garbage human who doesn't work until I'm 100, so I invest my 401k in Fortune 500 companies who try to grow my investment.
1
@fatrat92 What is your recommendation? Pyramid schemes?
1
@skaza74 The false equivalencies and lack of accountability from you are embarrassing. You won't be arrested as a draft dodger if you choose low returning investments. You are just a greedy hypocrite who would rather look out for your own interests over the common good. If you need to blame society to sleep better at night, then go ahead.
1
@jf8188 I think you aren't smart enough to be a spell checker at a M&M factory.
1
@chungo4800 The real estate companies aren't public companies. Look at steal manufacturers who can't fire staff even though there aren't enough customers to sell steel to. They are losing money because the government doesn't want the political consequences of mass layoffs. You also have government banks forced into malinvestments to serve China's political goals. This includes pressuring investments in dangerously risky belt and road investments and unprofitable loans to local companies.
1
@darkhobo Unless basic needs aren't being met, income equality is a debate about fairness and not a question of good and evil. Why is your greed for a higher income good, but a stockholder's greed for higher dividends evil? Greed is a sin either way.
1
@madhuguru3130 401k are designed to protect older companies from losing out to younger companies. My grandfather's IBM pension was a huge cost on the company, while younger companies like Google and Apple had more money to invest in R&D and higher employees' salaries. 401ks also give employees more freedom to move between jobs and don't have to worry about their retirement payments drastically shrinking if the company goes out of business.
1
@lcg3092 A bunch of whiners who can't offer any serious alternative aren't worth listening to.
1
@lcg3092 What is the alternative? Communism? Hippie Commune?
1
@WanderingExistence Your alternative is a lie that gets all it funding from capitalism.
1
@user-lo4me9oe9z Go to Cuba. Don't be a hypocrite.
1
@Ir0nFrog Have you heard of the stock market? As an American, you can buy partial ownership of America's biggest companies through an app.
1
@adrianwerner1982 Any crazier than a government/corporate ponzi scheme? aka a pension
1
@jaredjohnson8387 Pensions are just ponzi schemes.
1
@dawn4383 If you are buying an IPhone made with slave labor, then you are also a hypocrite if you make a stance against slave labor. You can't take part and benefit from a system and then complain how unfair it is.
1
@rheawelsh4142 And many would have neither if 401k were unavailable. Most companies couldn't afford the risk of a pension, while 401ks give no long-term risks
1
@Joflyer0211 Most of the government pensions are bankrupting the country and are forcing higher taxes a smaller, younger worker pool. The only real exceptions are sovereign wealth funds, but those are basically government owned 401Ks.
1
@paulbukowiecki1213 Money is only lost if you sell. If you only have equity at retirement or you are cashing out your 401k before retirement, then you are a fool.
1
@beyondEV Isn't your whole economy selling luxuries and laundering money?
1
AI is going to threaten the jobs of scam callers from India. I have zero sympathy.
1
@OffGridInvestor It is quite the assumption to just assume everyone using consultants are paying a below market rate.
1
It is cheaper to be single than married with kids. Those rugrats are expensive!
1
Irrational panic won't destabilize the economy. Sounds good to me.
1
Where are all the Indian trolls who should be calling Hindenburg racists for targeting Block? Or is it only racist to point out Indian fraud?
1
@YouCanCallMeSir91 Realtors have a value, but they many don't add enough value compared to their costs.
1
With people needing supplies after a hurricane destroyed their community. Unions are EVIL
1
Trump had a MLM, a fake university, and a NFT. He only needs a crypto coin to get the Grand Slam of Fraud.
1
@GoldenMinotaur They make parts in China/Mexico to be assembled in America
1
@somebodyintheworld5036 Let's take dairy farmers as an example. Canadian dairy farmers export more to the US than American farmers export to Canada. Dairy lobbyists in the US want to tariff Canadian imports as it lets American dairy farmers have a captive market in the US. If Canada retaliates by tarriffing American dairy, then that is okay with American dairy lobbyists as they would rather lose a slice of the smaller Canadian market in order to keep all the pie of the larger American market. Consumers, Canadians, Americans, cheese manufacturers, pizza places, etc. will all lose. American dairy farmers and their lobbyist friends win.
