  1. I would argue that Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan show the US has a lot of patience for long wars. In addition, the Ukrainian was is significantly cheaper and doesn't have American causalities.

  2.  @runtaoyang1244  It is not my country to fight for. As long as the Ukrainians want to fight for their country, they should be supported by their allies. If the Ukrainian want to stop fighting, then that decision should be respected too.

  3. Ukraine is a country of 44 million who has plenty of young men who can and will fight. They just don't have enough equipment to arm every volunteer.

  6. ​ @rendezyt The US tax system guarantees the dollar has value. Even if you want to be paid in crypto or another currency, American citizens will still have to get dollars to pay their taxes. With the size of the US economy, that is a big demand for dollars.
