This is why you can't trust liberal arts majors

The fact that you posted this comment shows that isn't close to being true.
1
@DazedandInsane If that is a real concern, then you should probably take more precautions with your posts before an AOC lead death squad shows up at your door. 🙄

The clowns are going to argue in the comment section that Trump or Biden is the most corrupt president in history.
1
@rimfire8217 Just do one at a time over several videos
1
Simon has said he ignores requests with multiple entrees, because he doesn't know which person that people are up voting.
1
America really didn't care about democracies until after the cold war. The country was isolationist for most of its history and the cold war priorities were stopping communism instead of promoting democracy and human rights.
1
@cachifli870 A small militia defeats a larger state and makes the bigger state sign an favorable peace treaty in less than a year. It frankly insane that Texas forces even won. Also, pro-states rights doesn't always translate to slavery. The other rebellious states that fought against the Centralized Dictatorship includes non-slave states including the Republic of the Rio Grande and the Republic of Yucatán. In addition, many other states fought for federation instead of independence.

John Brown is probably America's first domestic terrorist.

Covid?

Reagan went senile near end of his second term.
1
Didn't he invade England or am mixing him up with another figure?
1
@PhoenixAscending Simon's early videos weren't that good either
1
@ignitionfrn2223 Cancel culture is the extreme on the other end. For example, in the eyes of progressives, Thomas Jefferson's legacy is solely defined by slavery.
1
@ah_libra His predilection for Marxism during the Cold War is taboo enough where few mention it in order to avoid criticizing him. You also bring up the point that the only time the minister's adultery is brought up is when it frames him as the victim of persecution by the FBI. MLK is one of greatest men in American history. We don't have to pretend like he is a flawless human being.
1
@corneliali7747 What if you add "People's" to the party's/country's name? Does that mean it is a government "of the people" or "by the people"?
1
Anglo speaking? English?

@JK-gu3tl I'm not saying saying Obama was scandal free, but none of them are newsworthy as Monica Lewinsky, Iraq WMDs, or January 6th. Bubble? The economy stagnated under Obama.

Thank goodness that she didn't have any dragons

The real history of Thanksgiving is the opposite of the modern spirit of Thanksgiving.
1
@shakiMiki I know who he is. My point was that he is a obscure figure.
1
@AKSHAYRapps Most of them don't visit English speaking websites

Having thousands of soldiers defeat a couple hundred soldiers at the Alamo isn't an achievement for his resume.

Simon will be happy as long as he gets his "sweet, sweet watch time. Legends."

@jeffreywoodward8202 Or only the super wealthy would be the only ones who win campaigns, because they would be the only ones who could afford to spread their message without consolidating resources with others.
1
@jeffreywoodward8202 Between regulators and Wall Street, it seems like the finance guys always to be a step ahead. I imagine it would be similar issues with political regulation on the scale you suggest. I would also say the SEC can't even fully enforce the rules they have now for politicians.
1
@dinodude-nx8yt Whoosh. The joke went over your head.
1
Fun fact, corporations and lobbiest firms don't vote. Citizens do.

Does anyone go straight to the mid roll ads?

@nataliekhanyola5669 "In Gallup's most recent measure of favorability about Reagan, taken in January 2001, 74% of Americans had a favorable opinion of him, and only 23% were unfavorable." I'm having difficulty finding a poll more recent than 2001, but Reagan is still widely popular today unlike the iron lady.
1
@tommyfred6180 You can pretend that Iran is a superpower all you want, but the fact is that there has never been so few deaths as a result of war in world history since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
1
@coldcoffee1506 Reagan left the White House with a job approval rating of 63 percent, support that many politicians can only dream of. Only 29 percent disapproved of Reagan's work. Among Republicans, Reagan enjoyed a 93 percent approval rating.
1
I always assumed people didn't like Reagan, because of his legacy of small government and conservative values is still a hurdle liberals can't get past. Little did I know, a bunch of ya'll preferred to have the Soviet Union around to support your socialist beliefs.
1
@internetual7350 How can you speak out against genocide, murder, and the persecution of ethnic minorities AND claim there is no such thing as an "Uncivilized" society? You defined Reagan's critism to the Soviet Union -- the country that made Ukraine starve, murdered the opposition, and exiled the Tatars from their home.
1
wolf tone Literally no one cares about Reagan's time as a union leader. It would be weird to ignore everything else he has done and then hate the man for rooting out communist in Hollywood. Plus, he pushed back when McCarthy took things too far.
1
@myoctobersymphony4446 "Popular" was probably poor word choice. Reagan is "less polarizing" than the iron lady. Of the people who didn't like her, they truly hated her. Reagan wasn't that divisive by comparison.
1
wolf tone They were only outed as communist. No one was even arrested.
1
wolf tone Why do we call out and shame racist and sexist today?
1
wolf tone You obviously missed the point. American society rooted out and osterized communist in the 1950s in same way we attack people with racist beliefs today.
1
@hueyfreeman1983 The improvements in the economy helps
1
@elizabethcsicsery-ronay1633 Biden's approval rating is 46% which is dismal if you consider all that debt-filled, inflation-causing vote buying he did like a Venezuela populist. He literally gave people "free" money and half the country still doesn't like him.
1
Is there a Cook Day?
1
@robertoleary5470 Even if it is a holiday, there are 300,000 million Americans who have Columbus Day compared to 5 million of New Zealand. I'm skeptical that Cook is more famous.
1
@I-am-Ranb0 Yes, but America is bigger than the UK, Australia, and New Zealand combined. It is the reason that the most known historical figures are always Chinese.
1
@Talisguy It is wierd and obsessive to bring up your poltical grievances during a biography of John Q Adams. It sounds like the people who always want to talk about Hunter Biden.
1
@CulturalBolshevik They wouldn't call MLK a troublemaker, because his protests were non violent. BLM are troublemakers because their protests turn into riots, looting, and arson. After all the destruction, the BLM leaders says it is justified by all the outrage the community feels. Lastly, Democrats were the ones who called the peaceful protesters troublemakers.
1
@CulturalBolshevik Republicans condemned BLM for all the violence, and they mock them for ridiculous demands like abolishing the police. It is a mischaracterization to claim Republicans oppose civil rights.
1
@CulturalBolshevik No one is arguing for police brutality and white supremacy. BLM can and should oppose these things, but it doesn't mean they should be encouraging arson, looting, and rioting. Also, defining yourself as a "civil rights" group doesn't exempt you from ridicule for ridiculous ideas such eliminating the police.
