The United States doesn't invade it's neighbors, so Canada and Mexico don't request foreign missle shields. Maybe this wouldn't be an issue if Russia would stop attacking it's neighbors.

The United States isn't the one attacking anyone.

It's to distract the public from Putin's poor economic management and his failure to handle covid.

"I'm American" 😉

NATO didn't move troops into Poland until Putin invaded Ukraine in 2014. Maybe Russia invading it's neighbors made NATO worried about Russia invading it's neighbors?

@Qwerty35110 I don't speak Russian troll
1
@Qwerty35110 NATO has military trainers in Western Ukraine which is farther from the Russian border than NATO countries like Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. In addition, a few trainers isn't a risk to Ukraine's separatist regions yet alone Russia
1
@Qwerty35110 Ukrainians and other former Warsaw Pact countries just want to have open trade and investment with the rest of Europe. Why can't Russians just leave them alone?
1
@Qwerty35110 To avoid a Russian invasion, Ukraine needs to further implement an agreement forced on them by a Russian invasion in 2014? How do Russians keep claiming that they aren't the aggressors? Why can't Russian just leave Ukraine alone? This isn't a zero-sum game. Ukraine should be allowed to have economic relations with both Europe and Russia without being attacked by Putin.
1
@Qwerty35110 Russia will invade Ukraine for moving troops in their own country? They sounds hypocritical since Russia keeps saying no one has a right to comment about Russia moving troops within its own borders. Let's also not forget Putin's terror campaign on the Chechens for seeking independence from Russia. It's seems like Putin's demands to respect sovereignty are completely hypocritical.
1
@Qwerty35110 Yes. The city that the government pumped in billions of dollars into as a propaganda showcase to foreign visitors is pretty. What is your point? I could send you a tourist video of Orlando Florida, but that too would be a mischaracterized representation of a whole country.
1
@Qwerty35110 True. If Russia wasn't always invading it's neighbors, then Eastern Europe wouldn't see the need to join NATO. Meanwhile, there isn't a modern equivalent of the Warsaw Pact, because Non-NATO countries don't seem worry about Western aggression .
1
@Qwerty35110 Tell that to the Chechens after Putin bombed their cities into rubble
1
@Qwerty35110 Why do Russians have so many scapegoats? If it's not the West, it's Ukraine. If it's not Ukraine, it's the Muslims. Maybe it's time for Russians to start looking at their leaders as the problem instead whoever your leaders are arbitrarily blaming.
1
@Qwerty35110 That's naive. Putin is pro-Putin. Putin's interests usually align with the Russian people, but he has also shown he is willing to skrew over the Russian people for the benefit of him and his cronies. This isn't unique to Russia, but it is more problematic in Russia due authoritarian crackdowns on government transparency, media, free speech, and opposition parties.
1
@Qwerty35110 American military presence is a stabilizing force that discourages attacks from bad actors. For example, everyone knows Russia is too scared to attack NATO countries, so members like Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia have less economic uncertainty than non-NATO countries like Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia. Growing, stable economies are good for global trade. I really see little benefit to travel to the moon.

@Qwerty35110 "As of 2021, Russia ranked 150 out of 180 countries in the Press Freedom Index compiled by Reporters Without Borders. In the 2017 Freedom House Freedom of the Press report Russia scored 83 (100 being the worst), mostly because of new laws introduced in 2014 that further extended the state control over mass media." In addition, there is a impressive amount of anti-Putin journalists who keep dying from unexplained gun shots, illnesses, and suicides.
1
@Qwerty35110 Russia has already illegally occupied Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
1
@Qwerty35110 Russia used the same justification to invade Ukraine and annex Crimea as the Nazis used to invade Czechoslovakia and annex Sudetenland. Bull $*it reasons of historical ties, common languages, and local popularity of the idea due to fascist propaganda.
1
Wierd how Russia is the only one building an invasion force. Where is this NATO buildup that Putin is imagining?

They were also part of the Nazi false flag that let them invade Poland.

Ukraine only wants NATO membership to protect itself from Russian aggression. If Russia truly wanted to stop NATO expansion, then Putin should stop attacking its neighbors.
