@kylesawkon4074 If someone said Biden is a coward for avoiding a debate, and the response is "what about Trump avoiding the debate," then that would be Whataboutism too. Trump defender usually can't defend Trump's bad behavior, so they always go to Whataboutism and false equivalencies.

@saywhat8966 Responding to an accusation with a counter-accusation instead of a defense of the original accusation is sign that one doesn't have a logical argument to make. Basically, you can't defend Trump's cowardice, so you try to change the topic to Biden.

@BillyColeII-dr6dk Probably not. Voters no longer hold candidates accountable if candidates refuse to debate. If Biden is up in the polls, then Biden will bail by making some excuse of not wanting to give Trump a platform for his hate speech, and liberals will cheer. If Trump is up in the polls, then Trump will make some excuse about the "deep state conspirators," and then MAGA will cheer. You are already cheering at Trump running from Haley with nonsensical excuses.
