  3. Western tanks have better targeting and night capabilities. The Russian videos just showed that Soviet tanks are vulnerable to pre-targeted artillery attacks when driven across a field in broad daylight. Unless the Ukrainians just don't have the equipment to commit to it, it would be better to advance at night with Western optics.
