It is more like a tax deductible business expense. Trump isn't a great businessman, but his accountants know how to play the tax code.

@MaryLopez-em3rc I was talking about the legal fees based on the crimes that he did in office. I'm pretty sure using campaign funds to pay off personal debt is what the FBI arrested Santos for.

@gerald5175 Because Trump threw his lawyer under the bus to go to jail for him, so the bitter ex-lawyer presented evidence for an investigation. Otherwise, Trump's profitable tax fraud would have continued indefinitely like every other real estate billionaire.
