@jbinskin With 4% unemployment and Trump ready to deport millions of low wage workers, where are we going to find the workers for these jobs?

Why can't they find a conservative who can argue in good faith anymore?

@felixfontaeus4518 We literally have to import workers because Americans can't/won't do certain jobs. Also, homelessness is a drug and housing issue. It's not an employee. With just a high school diploma, you can find a job in a day if you aren't picky.

@Shoresland American aren't working as fruit pickers or in meat processing plants even when the wages are way above average for people without college degrees. This is because they don't want to live in these areas or they think they are too good for the work. Just look at Springfield, Ohio. The city was depopulating as Americans moved to bigger cities instead of working the local factories. Meanwhile, immigrants were happy to live in small town America and work a factory job.

@felixfontaeus4518 Your understanding of economics is shallow. You threw around economics jargon without any understanding. For example, if economic inequality is inherently bad as you believe, then you should move to Cuba, where everyone is equally poor. Also, money printing encourages people to invest money instead of hoarding, and it is sustainable as long as it is surpassed by economic growth.

Isn't Kevin the guy who told us to invest in FTX?

@HotSauce-mn1mp She spoke facts. Trump's tariffs cost American citizens hundreds of dollars. WSJ's math is that America paid $850,000 per new job sent back to America from the tariffs while creating job loss downstream for Americans. Now, Trump was to scale up his bad policies to create inflation, unemployment, and lower exports.

@AustinMcCrary It means 4% of the participating workforce doesn't have jobs. Are you implying that children, retirees, non-working students, and stay at home moms are only choosing not to work because farmland jobs, meatpacking plants, and sweatshops aren't paying enough?
