@gloryakiepper7918 The deregulations on the rail breaks only applied to trains carrying dangerous cargo. The train that was derailed didn't fit in that category. I am definitely not a fan of Trump, but blaming him is categorically dishonest.

@oliver9465 I categorically disagree with Godwin's interpretation. Unless we are talking about a police state with genocidal ambitions, any comparison just downplays the atrocities of the Nazis by someone who lacks the intellectual stamina to make a coherent argument.

Godwin's law - As an online discussion grows longer (regardless of topic or scope), the probability of a comparison to Nazis or Adolf Hitler approaches. When a Hitler comparison is made, whoever made the comparison loses whatever debate is in progress.

@gloryakiepper7918 You are just rambling at this point.

@eduardorodriguez1484 Bannon is a liar, a fraudster, and anti-democratic. However, it is lazy and inaccurate to compare him to the genocidal Nazi party. Calling everyone you don't like a "Nazi" is what you would expect the intellectually bankrupt, and it is disrespectful to downplay the horrendous actions of the Nazi with such a comparison.

@eduardorodriguez1484 Your liberal use the word "Nazi" to describe those who you don't like makes you sound as ridiculous as Marjorie Taylor Greene.

@oliver9465 Not really. People cherry picking their confirmation bias is hardly the same as authoritarian control of the media. Republicans refusing to watch CNN isn't the same as arresting Don Lemon for criticizing Trump. If anything, liberal demands to ban Fox and conservative demands to ban CNN is more concerning than the 8 people on Truth Social.

@gloryakiepper7918 Fact "The brake mandate reversed by Trump only applied to high-hazard flammable trains, and the Ohio train didn't have enough cars with flammable liquids to meet that regulatory standard. It would not have been required to have the newer brake system under the Obama-era rule." There was never a rule for this type of train to have such a break system. That means Obama and Biden are equally responsible as Trump for never implementing such a rule. To blame Trump is wholeheartedly dishonest.

@gloryakiepper7918 I voted for Biden over Trump because Trump lied about covid to cover up his shortcomings in his response. Even though I am a lifelong Republican, I couldn't stomach voting for a man willing to let so many die for his own benefit. However, it would still be dishonest of me to blame Trump for the accident in Ohio because the facts show that the responsibility doesn't belong to him. Maybe you should try to put aside your bias so you don't sound like a partisan hack who can't be objective about a single thing.
