  1. The Republic Party needs to end. We need a new right-leaning party that isn’t based on appealing to the worst aspects of human nature. …and as counterweight to some of Progressivisms goofier ideas. (I say that as Democrat and post-Progressive.)

  3. @ Because the GOP abandoned its duty to govern responsibly. Now it is power at any price. No act to secure it is beneath them. They are a dying political party. There is a realignment shifting away from them. The only question is will it happen fast enough to keep them from ruining the nation. Because they’d rather rule in Hell than serve in Heaven….
