Yes it’s a business. But you can’t have a successful business without a need in the market place. The way in which current feminism is off the rails and is no longer about true equality or agency (freedom plus responsibility)…and the lack of options with regard to speaking about it lest one get cancelled or fired (women are powerful but still need protection from themselves and others)? Has created that need and that marketplace. The issue is that one needs to vet what one hears in those spaces. Take what one needs…and leave the rest behind. What these spaces serve is the need that fathers, uncles and other make authority figures used to fill before our current dysfunction pushed them out of homes and out of children’s lives. So you are having people reach adulthood with no idea what to do in the face of masculine authority and no experience with how it differs from feminine power. So it all just gets labeled “toxic”.
