@leeolie3728 No. You get up and walk away. She can’t have a fight by herself…and trying to control (“check”) her behavior only add fuel to the fire. There is no (legal) way you can force her to respect you or your boundaries. The most powerful form of rejecting her bad behavior is simply ignoring her and it…by just walking away. Because you are denying her the very thing she wants: attention.

@leeolie3728 Can’t be concerned by that. You can either be healthy…or popular…but not both. Especially if you are dealing with a toxic woman. Because society will make all kinds of excuses for women engaging in emotionally or socially aggressive behavior. The only way to win at an unwinnable game is not to play. Walk. Away.

The power of mindfulness.

They either get even angrier…or they get confused.

@rayzerot No, they don’t. Actual narcissists are rather rare.

@MVProfits This…. Or if they wind up with more than one, they figure out that they are the one with the problem.

@roses6564 Yep. People with poor boundaries always see someone else’s healthy boundaries as a “violation” and a “unreasonable restriction” on their “rights”. They take their own shameless behavior and project responsibility for it onto others.

@Elise_Terez He married an addict. Not a narcissist.

@waldenmathews8059 More like generalized mud slinging: any man I don’t like…or does what I don’t like…is a narcissist. Convenient way of avoiding having to examine your own behavior and contributing to the toxic dynamic….

@roses6564 Toxic people. Bullies. Abu53rs. Narcissists. Addicts. Sociopaths, etc. None of theses people ever think their own behavior is a problem or the source of their own problem. So they will spin anything and everything into being someone else’s fault. Which allows them to go on being the hero or the helpless victim in their own story.
