Agreed. This WAY past time we stop protecting Netanyahu and Likud from the consequences of ignoring international law. I like the idea of him having to worry about being arrested if he leaves Israel….

@killahkurlz7157 No. That can only be said about the men most women WANT. Trust me. Ten women aren’t lining up to date the guy who cashed you out at that convenience store yesterday. Or who drove the Uber you rode in. The problem is that average women feel that average men are beneath them…and there are not enough exceptional men to go around for all the women who feel they deserve one. So the average guy is ignored…or mocked. While the average woman chases after a guy who has no interest or incentive to commit to her. Because of the nine other women vying for his attention.

After five years of this, why are people still shocked at his behavior??
8
@chandlabing782 Because news is just another form of entertainment now.
6
Be a Former President……
5
It’s not the mean tweets. It’s threats and harassment that come later from the cult members….
4
@DARWINZOO That the lackey who would be appointed Attorney General would force him to do it anyway. Especially as she’s talking about going after prosecutors who were doing their jobs. This is what we voted for. Hope y’all think it’s going to be worth it…

@bpendarvis523 It’s always been a part of who we are. It was just kept hidden and largely seen only by people of color. But this is what the dark heart of the American character looks like. Those of us with family roots in the South are all too familiar with this.
3
Cowardice……
2
Yep. Because that is how it works. Your political opponents are not just people with different ideas or interests. They are (internal) Enemies of the State.
2
@codyharney91 That reaction is precisely what he’s taking about. Not even a second’s thought for the victims here…. …and you jumps straight into whataboutism, and false equivalency. Complete with laughing emoji. There is a difference between a riot…and an assassination. Huge difference. But it’s like some of you can’t see anyone who disagrees with you as even being human anymore. Or you just don’t care. He has normalized and desensitized us to something really ugly in human nature.
2
@ This is who we are….
2
Because a majority chose this. They don’t care unless it affects them directly and obviously. “These Four and No More.”
2
@chandlabing782 Low-information voter.

Oh knock it off. He’s a Catholic guy speaking to a Catholic audience at a Catholic university. Intolerance is a door that swings both ways. You are telling him how he needs to live and what he needs to believe. This is why we have a First Amendment. If don’t agree with what he believes? Don’t attend Mass….
1
@ No. The are afraid of their voters. The crazy and anti-social ones at least….
1
It’s not a woman thing. It’s a BLACK woman thing. They are trying to invoke racial stereotypes without have to say them out loud.
1
History doesn’t repeat itself, but it does rhyme. This is what always happens when you Speak Truth To Power…. …and power doesn’t like what you have to say. American police LOVE showing up in riot gear when we there are protests on the behalf of outgroups…
1
@vi7225 There are no “lefty goons”. Putting that paranoia into the minds of authoritarian followers is how you creat the real goons. Just sayin….
1
@truthseeker-nv6ny Because that’s how you use fear to silence dissent. The same crap was used back in 2003 to try to silence dissent over going to war in Iraq. We were called “unpatriotic” “in league with the terrorists”… and other such reactionary nonsense when we pointed out that we were being lied to by our leaders. …and history has proven us right. What’s going on right now is an effort to silence dissent and divert attention away from how Israel (Likud) has treated the Palestinians for the last 30 years. So poorly that Amnesty International was comparing it to South Africa under Apartheid. What Hamas did shocked the conscience, but came as no surprise to anyone who had been paying attention to what was happening. Both sides have lost their way morally. Both sides feel that their ends justify whatever means necessary…..

So much for a nation of laws…..
1
Usual racial dogwhistles from the Right’s racist underbelly.
1
@faithingod5533 . I do, and he’s right. MAGA is a fascist movement.
1
Wait… A politician that is a self-serving hypocrite? No…….
1
You can never do enough of what really isn’t the issue. It’s socially more acceptable to create these false narratives to explain discomfort, than to say the truth: I’m uncomfortable in a world where a woman of color is the most powerful person on Earth. So we get these stupid games to try to hide what this election is really about: who we are as a nation; who gets to hold power, and who really matters. White Christians…or Everyone?
1
He’s a symptom. He’s not the problem. Actually Clinton put her finger on the real problem in an op-ed she wrote right after Jan. 6th: “If given the choice between democracy and ‘whiteness’, too many Americans would choose whiteness.” …and they choose Trump.
1
Says Mr. Bone Spurs….. What a petty, petty man…

The Party of The Rule of Law, RIP.

We have always been here. You are seeing the America that People of Color (and other minorities) have always lived in. What has change is that venom is now being turned on other white Americans…and it is so loud and obnoxious that it can no longer be ignored. You are seeing our Original Sin as a nation. The malicious spirit that kept Africans enslaved, then terrorized as citizens without rights. Annihilated Native Americans…and exploited Latinos and East Asian laborers. This is the side of the American Character that white America wants to pretend doesn’t exist. Well…can’t pretend not to see it anymore….
1
@ When Biden took office hundreds of thousands of people were dying from covid, and we were fighting to stay out of a global depression. Oh and our relationships with our allies were in tatters. Oh and Putin invaded Ukraine because he thought no one would do anything about it. Americans are sheep with short memories and the maturity of toddlers.
1
@karenbourke3751 Yep. Welcome to the America that people of color have always had to contend with….
1
Democrats may not have agreed with McCain on some matters of policy, but he was a man of integrity. A man that Democrats respected…and could work with to govern the country. Unfortunately men like him have been chased from the Republican Party. Now it’s just Power at Any Price. Like the last days of the Roman Republic.
1
It shows what morally-grey, power-hungry people will do for a taste of power. It also shows the climate of fear (of Trump and the authoritarian base of the GOP) have created. Disagreeing them or standing up to them requires more courage than many of them have.
1
The GOP sold its soul to the old Dixiecrats and other authoritarian elements in the American underbelly. The Establishment thought they could control these people. Only they now have lost control of the monster they created…
1
Oh this is America. It’s just a side of America that only minorities used to see. We have a long tradition of this stuff….
1
@Lee-rt6tx Both sides have stoked the polarization. But the far Right has really started to take an ugly turn…this is stuff out of the 1960s.
1
You’re seeing how the GOP got the white working class to vote group identity rather that economic self-interest: Your life is bad because of Government and its support for the scary, undeserving brown people…. SMH.
1
@59bettybay It’s basically an excise tax. How the Federal Government used to fund itself before the Constitution was amended to allow income taxation. The government needs money to run. You can’t have government services that no one pays for….and unless you make over 70k a year you will take more out in services than you will ever pay in taxes. But the rich don’t want you to know that. So they tell you to defund the government so you hurt yourself thinking you’re kicking down at the undeserving poor.
1
@nuqwestr So you have a personal axe to grind. Got it…. As for right choice, the fact you consider someone who has been convicted of 31 felonies by a jury of his peers “the right choice”? Speaks volumes. None of it flattering…
