  1. No. It’s what happens when you untether an ideology from objective reality. Many authoritarian or fundamentalist religious theologies are similarly untethered. The issue here is when you have such ideologies? People stop doing what reason demands: when the Map doesn’t fit the Territory….you change the Map. But instead people who are committed and have built identities around such ideologies either get out the Bulldozers and try to force the Territory to fit their Map… … or they attack anyone who dares to notice the discrepancy. In this case pointing out the MOUNTAIN of scientific data that reproducibly show how different men and women are at a collective level? Gets you accused of being a misogynist, and the science dismissed as “bad science” or “biased”. Because it doesn’t fit their narrative that biology doesn’t matter and that women are simply the victims of oppressive men. Rather than the beneficiaries of protective men. Which is the sounder more rational narrative one you factor in biology and evolution.
