  1. It security is one the EU wants more independence on, they should probably start with getting the UK’s valuable Navy and Royal Air Force back. Then, possibly work out some agreements with the US to get the best military technology anyone can hope to buy. Probably getting that submarine agreement back for France as well.

  3. They already have a different set of trade agreements in place with each other. Making the EU rather unnecessary.
