  5. @Emanual Carr She sucked, supported dis-enfranchising people, and supported the party that has and continues to try to overthrow the government. The retaliation of such is among the extremes people are willing to go to. Due to different beliefs in what is justified and unjustified, one of these retaliations can mean the start of an avalanche for something even worst.

Even if it is losing population, still by far the most populous city in the country. For mass exodus, based on what as the economy is still growing there with a GDP growth rate of about 5.4% in 2022. One of the better economies that year not even being that far behind Texas or Florida. Also, those businesses move to other places like rural New York and the west. FL and TX are not the only options for businesses to move to. Especially as they weren't even the fastest ones. The biggest ones in GDP growth were the western states.

  9. You know you can use migrants to help solve our issues, right? These issues have very rarely been dealt with on our own. If we were to cut out other countries from chip manufacturing, the US electronic industry would definitely crash.

  10.  @matttorrence2900  No. The left is pro bigger government. We believe in orderly matter for everything. The difference here is we believe that it should be easy for migrants to come into the US. Especially asylum seekers who are in an emergency. Then again, it is hard to make it easy as only so many resources can be provided at one time and with this, they resort to illegal immigration which creates a different area of contention here.

  11. I don’t believe in having an open border, but this is not an invasion. You are being hyperbolic and hysterical here. Am I supposed to be scared of a Venezuelan guy running out to the Sacramento Capitol building to take out Gavin Newsom (tratorous scum claiming to be Americans did this at the national capitol). None of them have even ever done that nor are there reported attempts of it. Most of these people are unskilled, so it is unlike you will find some secret bomb specialist or some Eritrean spy.

  14. You know most lefties don’t believe in open borders as it can cause issues with the welfare state right? They believe in free movement, but not simply having such movement free of regulations. After all, also believes in regulations for numerous other areas.
