  1. That part of India has a completely different climate from that of Europe and the American west-coast. It extends into the tropics and gets more monsoonal moisture.

  4. Who owns the desert lands in Southeastern California where nobody even lives? Who’s home? I’m an American and my home didn’t get broken into as that place is not my home. Part of home country, but not my home. I don’t own this place.

  7.  @nitingopal7929  The rainfall patterns are not the same though as the rains comes from monsoons. Our rains come during the winter from westerlies. That matters as places with that pattern will receive more rain with climate change and places with westerlies will get drier with climate change.
