  2. The west is actually one of the major sources for that river. The main areas getting that flood water are the deep deep southeast like Florida and the eastern sea board.

  3. The northwest coast of California gets more rainfall than anywhere east of the Mississippi. Any place can have water issues. The Mississippi river went very dry recently and enough to disrupt shipping and reveal ship wrecks. If you are going by where people are supposed to live, then everyone should be living in the tropics. For Utah, the people can live their by their choice as there is no one place for people to live. There are numerous different water resources which change with time due to climate change, population growth, and environmental changes. So back off and don’t tell me or others where they ought to live.

  6. Here in California, we also have the Salton Sea that has been considered in having connected to the ocean via a channel through Mexico to the gulf of California. If we manage to get a project in with Mexico to have water come in from the Pacific Ocean, that water can also be channelled to numerous other valleys farther north going to nevada and then pumped up to the Great Salt Lake. With it being as salty as it is, the lake water would be less saline than it usually is.
