  2. This was very well done. I probably wrote a comment when it came out - but YouTube may have eaten it. Just finished reading Lockwood's Sink 'em All for the second time. First time was when I was 13 years old. As to Magnetic Influence Exploders - the Germans stopped using them after one of their U-Boats fired 8 torpedoes at the Warspite - Four going into the Fjord where it sank all those destroyers and Four coming out. All exploded prematurely. When that German Captain got home - he visited HQ - where he was literally pounding on a desk while screaming that he would NEVER use Magnetic Influence Exploders again. Having lost the opportunity to sink Warspite - TWICE - the Germans HQ seemed to have agreed and that was that for that. Unfortunately for the Americans the Officer who had helped develop the Mark 14's was in a command position where he refused to allow any implication that HIS torpedoes had a problem and that it was the Sub Crews who were at fault. .
