  5.  @nickd7935  Apple isn’t the only vendor where this happens with Linux. I think the vendors do only as much work as they need to, to look good. Plus they always want to add extra stuff for their own purposes, that you didn’t ask for. Whereas the Linux hackers see performance bottlenecks as things that they just have to hunt down and eliminate, wherever they are.
