  1. Neat stuff. The circuit breakers I remember seeing as a child back in the Old Country had a “test” button -- I get the feeling they produced a short directly inside the breaker. Also there was no special reset action--just turn the switch back on. Of course, if the short was still in effect, it would refuse to come on.
