  1. Do you have place names that trip people up? Here in 🇳🇿 we have “Feilding” and “Manfeild”, and yes, they are spelled that way. Also there is “Hanmer Springs”, which I frequently hear pronounced as “Hamner”.

  2. In the spirit of clouds with a silver lining, suppose the next pandemic was some infectious eye disease, and everybody had to go round wearing domino masks over their eyes for protection, instead of these mouth/nose ones. Wouldn’t that at least look cooler?
