  2. What happened to the last person in the US to pull a gun on a representative of the Government? He was shot and killed. How do I know? Because it happens several times a day, every day. The pea-shooters the US Government allows private citizens to have are really only good for massacring other private citizens, not for making a dent against the Government.

  3. PKD is worth reading, but I think if you do too much of him at once, you are in danger of becoming like him. He wrote so much, and so insightfully, about the tenuous nature of reality precisely because he himself had such a tenuous hold on reality.
