Socialist healthcare is the only kind of healthcare that works.

@bonnierobinson5917 Satire. As in “it would be funny, if it weren’t true”.

@KateBond642 Republicans have this weird idea that the rest of the world is in deep pain and suffering because it’s not the USA.

J K “ In the UK people are dying in long waiting lines despite the fact that more and more money has been invested into the NHS.” I had to look it up: the UK ranks slightly better than the USA in terms of life expectancy; enough to put it 10 places higher in this table https://www.infoplease.com/world/health-and-social-statistics/life-expectancy-countries-0

J K It’s hard to see why you claim that. Look at that life expectancy chart, and see how well the Cubans do. Not only that, but their health professionals are performing sterling service the world over -- that’s how good they are.

J K Even if the cancer survival rate is better in US hospitals, how many of your people can afford the treatment? In other words, how many are actually surviving? And yes, guns are a big problem in the US, too -- at least you have the honesty to admit that.

J K Their hospitals are in fact very good https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Healthcare_in_Cuba

J K Healthcare has to be Goverrnment-run. People in the US pay something like twice as much as those in the UK for similar treatment. Obama tried to fix that with his Affordable Care Act, yet some are ideologically opposed even to the idea that such improvements are possible.

J K Where does it say it’s worse than the US?
1
J K On the contrary, the Government abrogating its responsibilities is precisely what got the US into its healthcare mess in the first place. Other countries with better Government oversight have better-run healthcare systems. Healthcare is not one of those places where a competitive free market works.
1
J K Strange you should say that Government involvement has made things worse, since the Congressional Budget Office itself said that rolling back Obamacare would make things worse. You know, that’s the body that’s supposed to give objective, impartial, non-partisan advice to all members of Congress?
1
J K Why is it alway Republicans who disagree with objective evidence? Do you really believe reality has a liberal bias?

2:29 O RLY? More Americans voted for Clinton than for Trump, remember.

0:46 Ross Perot all over again. This is why the US doesn’t really have a democracy; it cannot tolerate even the concept of having more than two political parties in its representative assembly.
