Peer pressure is an incredibly powerful thing. You look at examples like some formerly mild-mannered schoolteacher in Cambodia who ran a prison where essentially nobody came out alive, and realize that the barrier to that sort of thing happening doesn’t have to be that high, once you start destroying the credibility of your institutions.

It’s his job as President to try to unite the country, not divide it. It will be a massive job, but he has volunteered for it, remember. Try your best to help him.

@e22ddie46 Precisely. 3 million more votes weren’t enough for Clinton in 2016; it took more than double that margin to take out Trump this time. In a democracy, every vote would count equally.

@andreweisan9613 Obama persevered with it. He managed to get things done, in spite of the Republicans trying to stymie him at every opportunity.

8:05 The Trump echo chamber has closed in on itself. Instead of being quoted on Fox News, and then tweeting back what they were saying, he has now imploded on himself and is simply believing everything that comes out of his own mouth.
