  6. It will work for companies that haven’t evolved themselves into a corner. As always in a competitive market, some (who were able to make wiser longer-term decisions) will survive and others (who went for short-term gain) will go to the wall.

  7.  @ExplainingComputers  Blender can import LightWave .lwo files. So you should be able to bring across your existing assets. As well as have access to lots of new ones. It also has a library system so you can link to objects instead of having to copy them into a scene. Plus more modern rendering, compositing, scripting etc.
